Can this be? Vented windows auto-closed themselves in rain???

Does venting the window actually make a difference? On all my other cars, leaving the windows and/or sunroof open seemed to do absolutely nothing with regards to interior temperature. All it did was make it so I had all sorts of bugs flying around inside my car. (All my windows (sans windshield) are already tinted @ 22%. The only thing that made a noticeable difference was when I got a Heat Shield sunshade for the windshield.. Which is why all my cars now have one of those.
Yes! It makes a big difference! Any air can flow through. Hotter air is going to be near the top of the window and rise up. Cooler air will replace it.
Interiors can be damaged by high temperatures so even a minor difference could mean the difference between parts ageing / failing!
