Can we get a maintenance DIY section...

    this forum needs a maintenance section. Some of us like to tinker, do simple maintenance, and having the info grouped would be great

    Start posting. When there is enough useful content it may get its section.

    There is already some good info but it's everywhere. Some open up interior trim , others have done speaker swaps, haven't found any brake stuff, battery swap guides

    Might it be due to lack of availability of DIY parts? Can you buy brake pads and rotors for the Roadster, Model S?

    Those parts are normally off the shelf for all manufacturers and provided by oems such as Brembo.

    I would love it. There are so many great threads about cool DIY. I don't envy the mod who tries to wrangle it all.

    Even without a central place to look for DIY, I have learned more than I could ever imagine about my car.

    Just tagging each such post with DIY somewhere in the title would go a long way. Then maybe an advanced search for DIY plus a couple of parameters would work nicely.
