Having had my 21" Tesla and 19" Rial Lugano wheels re-powder coated recently I thought it would be fun to create 3D Tesla center caps for each wheel set. My first attempt was for the Rial Luganos. Here are a few photos of the caps themselves. The wheels will be reinstalled on the car Wednesday so I'll take and post a few photos the them on the car with the 3D center caps.
The caps have been painted with spray paint that matches the powder coat color on the wheel (it's called Sparkle Silver). I found a site, Low Volume Powder, that sells matching paints for powder coat colors in the Tiger drylac range.
As the 3D design goes now, the center caps have to be flat as the logo is not curved. But I'm working on adding the proper curvature for the Tesla 21" wheel center caps.
