Changing Wheel Size...

Called my Delivery Specialist to said I'm hoping to change my wheel size from 22"
to 20". She said it's not as easy as changing wheels, the wheels were setup with
the factory delivery, the software is setup to the wheel size, bla bla bla. Is this
all baloney or are there some truth to this? What can I, as a customer do, to
change something as simple as the wheel/tires?

It depends on where in the process your car is. If you have not received a VIN and your car is not in production all you have to do is call the national sales number and tell them you want to make a change. Since you will have to pay the $500 change fee make sure there is nothing else you want to change.

If is already in pre-production or production the parts have all been sourced and it is much harder and maybe impossible to change. Call the main sales number and ask the question. Sometimes DS don't know the answer and give the same canned response.

I have received my VIN (29XX) but it isn't in production yet. I changed from the 22" to the 20" all-seasons, since I'm in the NE. Paid the $500.
