Chargegate, S85 Only

I've just been on the Tesla facebook group and seen there are in total three S85 owners who are concerned about charge speeds at superchargers. (same day)

If you have confirmed with the support line that your battery is the correct temp when charging

and

You are still getting slow charge speeds then please list your car below

• Model?
• Year?
• Mileage?
• Percentage charge (when trying to charge)?
• Check battery temp with support?
• Charge rate?

The objective is to evidence that there are issues with the battery that Tesla are trying to cover up.

(This may not impact any S85 owners now, but it could in the future)

Well I charged at Cribbs Causeway today and it was incredibly slow.
Model 3 BTW so slow supercharging may not be a type issue but rather a supercharger issue.

Well I charged at Cribbs Causeway today and it was incredibly slow.
Model 3 BTW so slow supercharging may not be a type issue but rather a supercharger issue.

I charged at Cribbs C (underground car park) once. There was an X which just great me to charge. I got 15kw. Gave up after rebooting twice without gain. 5 mins wasted!

2016 S85D 52500miles
Charging seemed to be restricted to 100kw momentarily before falling. However, last night I got 126kw as a starter at Membury and it held at 125 before slipping. Good input total before falling below 100kw.

Seems slow as it gets past halfway.

Ok ive added some tag to to the link you have provided, I'm hoping these are public as searching batterygate or Chargegate did not return the link.

I think it would be helpful to get a list of S85s having this issue. ONLY if the battery has been checked to be at the correct temp.

S85 Nov 2014 117k miles

Charging starts at 80kw at say 10% battery but quickly taper off to 50kw around 50% battery .... then tapering again to 30kw by 70% battery

range is 223 miles estimated at 100% but usually 203 miles at 90%
