Charging Issues after Damage to Left Back Quarter Panel

Hi, someone damaged the Left Rear Quarter Panel in a parking lot.....my heart is broken(see photo) but life goes on. After the accident, I had some slow charging issues at a Supercharger and some connectivity issues on my home charger. Is it possible a Charging Mechanism was damaged?(see photo). How would I assess the damage?

You are well into insurance-territory with that damage. Take it to Tesla(and their approved body shop) and let them sort it out.

I don't think its likely a charging mechanism/wires were affected by that damage.

Sure, its possible. I dont know how likely, but there is damage there so there its possible.

How would I assess the damage?

By taking it to a body shop?

There are some harness and wires. Best is to take a to Tesla.

I'd think they are similar in capability, but make your insurance aware that it may be more than body damage and they'll also have to cover a service center visit if there are wiring issues discovered.
