I checked into it, but decided to pass. My State Farm insurance was $5.00 more a month and a $500 deductible vs. Tesla's $1k. Also, I'm not a fan of having my driving tracked. I know it can save money, but I drive too much and it would likely not help.
I figure they are always tracking you, at least you get to know what they think of your driving

You'll want to check the math for your tax rate and trade-in value. The sales tax for me is around 8.6%. My trade is $40k, which is subtracted from the taxable value of the Tesla. So the tax savings for me is about $3450. Just something to keep in mind.

I priced it, but adding it to my Geico plan was much less expensive than going with Tesla. If I have a high (>90) safety score after a couple months I'll re-price Tesla insurance.
Do you have FSD? My understanding was you only got your safety score if you have FSD or insurance. Have you heard contrary?
I'm going to pay for monthly FSD, at least this summer (with the hope that I get to try the beta). I don't plan on continuing it in the winter.

My EDD changed to 6/12-6/17 this morning... Was 6/16-6/20. No updates on scheduling pickup as of now though.

No changes yet, still 17-21 and can’t schedule. Though I suspect our cars are on the same train…

State Farm was only planning to charge me $100 more per 6 months over my existing policy on the trade. Which 2018 vs 2022 makes that all good.
Same. I expect the text Sun/Mon to schedule For sure. Until then they won’t lock in my trade offer price. But wow Carvana was LOW LOW LOW. $5k lower then everyone else.
