CPO purchase . Poor communication?

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
Ordered a CPO on the web site on Dec 19th. Have had no communication from a delivery specialist even after asking for some information.

Anyone else having poor service from sales?

Communication has historically been very poor at Tesla. However, if you paid a deposit for a car last month and still haven't heard anything, that seems a bit extreme.

I would call the nearest sales location to you and ask to be put in contact with a CPO advisor.

I think Tesla's sales and delivery specialist are completely bogged down with December and January deliveries. I ordered my CPO in mid-December, and while they had it ready for delivery within a week (picked it up 10 days after reserving it), it felt very rushed and the lack of replies to my calls and emails was frustrating. I did start the process with a regional cpo advisor who was very good with answering questions and getting me photos. But once I made the deposit online and signed some papers, my emails and calls often went unanswered. I would definitely try and reach out to either a regional cpo advisor or local service center. I called tesla's 800 number and they gave me the cpo advisor for my part of the country.

Good luck. It's hard to wait, but it's so worth it!

Yeah see my post elsewhere about being "sad and shocked". It's risky saying "poor service" on this site. I was jumped on and possibly you will be BRANDED by the really , um, emphatic Tesla owners (and I am on my 2nd one) as "B.S." "This story is totally made up" etc. Anyway my experience started Sunday and ended Wednesday. Very tough. My opinion from what I see is a great company growing at light speed....understaffed....new people...new executives...all VERY talented in one way or another however having some new "improved" processes put upon them that they cannot work through efficiently. Keep trying....be persistent and polite...escalate to the regional manager (they are great) if you have to. Good luck. It all worked out for me.

I was able to get a manager at the local sales center to get me some help. He tracked the car down and found that it was in Fremont and it had not been touched yet. He says they are too swamped there. He arranged for it to be shipped here local so they can get and process started. I sure wish one of the other three people I contacted would have done the same.

I ordered a CPO on line. Initial response from CPO team was fair. Last two weeks they have gone dark. No phone calls being answered by delivery location or corporate office. No response to emails either
No business large or small should be this bad at handling business. I am beginning to regret going with Tesla CPO. Question for those who have taken CPO delivery, is service just as bad after sale?

Had similar problems with my CPO deal. Found the best bet was not to talk to the sales people, but to focus on the delivery person at the SC where you will pick up the car. They were very responsive. As far as service, I have absolutely no complaints, but like anything else Tesla, it depends on where you live. Southern California seems to be a mess for service. Hope that helps.
