To all the folks waiting for a MYP (Performance, for the newbs), I got a VIN a few minutes ago. Ordered 4/10, Houston Texas. 194xxx range.

Well, does order reservation = purchase date? I would assume the day you pick up is the day is the purchase date since that's when the paperwork and keys get transferred

That's exactly the logic that I follow as well.

I am willing to bet it’s just a website issue. I have two friends who ordered on Tuesday and their dates disappeared too. I doubt they’re getting VINs…

EDD disappeared at about 2pm today PST - just got VIN - ordered 4/16 SB CA

As a follow up, the EDD is May 28 - June 01 which means it is probably one of the many Model Ys piled up at the SC in Austin.

If you financed, who did you end up going with? I'm assuming us Texans can't get financing with Tesla, but haven't confirmed recently.

Now I’m not sure how my lender (DCU) can get them paid in time if they are going to mail a cashier’s check… I guess I need to call them and see if they will do a wire.

They will send a check with overnight shipping

I got a big psych out today. I was on the Tesla website screwing around and building a Model 3 for fun even though I have MY in order since 4/22 in N Cal. So at about 4:30 today I got a call from my local SC and they said hi this is so and so from Tesla and I’m so psyched and they say hey we see you are interested in a M3. Want to come in for a test drive. lol. Anyway I asked about the My deliveries and they said that all N Cal deliveries will be in second half of June. I believe it.

Do we know why NorCal is kept last?
