Yeah it’s a bizarre one. Essentially:

“Lotteries were originally outlawed in the Nevada state constitution which was ratified in 1864. “No lottery may be authorized by this State, nor may lottery tickets be sold.” One small caveat to the prohibition on lotteries is a 1990 rule change that allows for charitable raffles to take place – A far cry from offering Powerball or MegaMillions.

They argue that a lottery would pull revenue away from resorts in Nevada that provide jobs to thousands and pay a substantial chunk of the state’s tax dollars. Essentially, they claim the money to pay for schools and other initiatives are already there. A lottery would only move tax dollars from one source (casinos) to another (the lottery) while creating few, if any, incremental revenue.”

More info here - No Lottery in Nevada? Why?!
Wow now that's an answer.

Just paid off my final balance! All that's left to do is pick up the car next Friday! Hope I don't die of anticipation before then... I feel like I did when I got my SEGA Dreamcast... wow.

FYI: I had to pay in full in advance because I live in Texas...
I’m in Austin too so how does the payment work ? I’m doing a loan and my trade in. It says I owe negative because of my trade in.

I am also in Austin - For me, I have to pay BEFORE I go to pick up, then I also have to go to the tax office (Travis, Williamson whatever) and pay the taxes. Its like buying a car from out of state. They take into account the sales tax etc. Not totally sure how the negative $$ works. Maybe they pay you?

Huh this sounds confusing lol. I assume tax will still be the same I just take my papers there and pay. But what do you mean pay before? I thought you always had to put the initial down payment down before you picked up?

Hi, when did you complete your profile? I ordered same config on May 27, but profile completed on June 25, had to add in trade in. My current EDD is Aug 24-Sep13
I originally completed it 5/24. I added trade-in mid-June but my SA said I didn't lose my place in line and my EDD on the site did not change before/after. When I updated the odometer last week my EDD disappeared and when it was reapproved, my EDD went from July 29-August 15 to September 16-30.

If you are in a negative, they should be cutting you a check for the difference or you can apply it towards the price of the car and finance less. Reach out to [email protected] and tell them your RN in the subject header. Include your vin in the message and ask them for assistance. They are very helpful.

In the occurrence you were paying in full in cash. You would have to send full payment before receiving the car. What jama999 May be referring is most people outside of Texas and Michigan (for example) are able to wait until seeing the car before submitting final payment.

Curious about this too. I have the Homelink at home ready to install. My understanding is that you have to have the car to schedule a service appt. which means another trip - unless they'll come to you.
You do have to do a separate service appointment for it at a SC - they don't do it via Mobile Service unfortunately. Had it added to my M3 last year and I had to drive 100 miles to my closest SC to get it added. Thankfully it was quick once I got there...took them only about an hour or so.

ugh 😩 I shouldn't have done the math was curious how many weeks its been since we ordered. This Saturday will be the end of week 11... My EDD isn't until week 20-21... I'm only half way, until they jump the date again...
I ordered the same day as you and my EDD pushed out yet another day again today as it has done every day for the last week and a half or so. Now EDD is Aug 4-Aug 21. Ugh...

Called the local delivery center and they confirmed that my October EDD is accurate according to all of their systems. Said that orders being placed now will not be fufilled until 2022.

Honestly trying to keep it cool. Being quoted 2-5 weeks and then being told 24+ weeks is a load of bull in my opinion.
Yeah that's a load of crap!

Sadly, I think this just proves how little the SA's and DC's know until you actually get a VIN assigned. Why would EDD's jump from July to October and back to July? Why would they jump to October once a VIN is assigned. None of that makes sense.

Yes, I think orders now have an October+ delivery time frame, but not your April order. That would be pure crazy. Unless your order is flagged to be built out of GigaTexas that would make no sense.
