My reservation disappeared from my account. Did this happen to you at any point? I ordered 03/23 MYLR Blue, white, basic

Reservation never disappeared but my dates did a few times. I hope that it has come back. That would worry me.

Congrats! I have a very similar configuration (gemini wheels and no FSD are the only difference), live in North Central Texas, and I ordered 4 days before you, so here is hoping I get a VIN soon.

You get a day assigned regardless if you pay then or on delivery day. I plan to pay after inspecting the vehicle.

Curious if you are doing a trade in with Tesla or somewhere else. Would love to know the pros and cons, if anyone has experience.

First tried to sell my current car, but got limited interest, and offers I did get were too low. Not to mention, as I noticed my delivery dates push out, I didn't want to be without a car that long.

Got quotes from Carvana, Vroom, and Tesla. Vroom and Tesla came in about the same, and Carvana was $500 more. Decided to accept Teslas offer because in my state I only pay sales tax on difference between new car price and trade in value - so trading in will save me around $2k in sales tax.

With that said, Teslas offer is only good for 30 days. It'll definitely be expired by the time my car shows up, which means I'll have to resubmit.

Anyone know if everyone listed on the registration needs to actually be home for a home delivery? Based on what I’ve read about home delivery, they just drop it off and you get into the car through your phone. I work from home but my partner does not so there are very few opportunities for them to drop off when we will both be here.

I saw someone else post that Tesla will just ask for an updated odometer readings. ...but guess we'll find out

You just don't open it until you're both there and ready to inspect.

Unless you're in MI (and maybe a couple of other states). Car must be funded before it can enter the state. Dang Car Dealer Association anyway.

This maybe a dumb question but does anyone know if the VIN is auto assigned from the Fremont plant or someone at your local dealer assigns it?

Just went to Tesla factory (I live 5 miles from the factory). Car is going to be off the manufacturing line tomorrow and they said they can probably deliver the same day as they will just have someone to drive the car from the factory to my place. Original estimated delivery time was April 29th. Ordered on April 6th.

Well my reservation was canceled by tesla! I called this morning because I couldn't see it on my account and they assured me it was a glitch. I called again after work and they told me it had been canceled. They asked me to make another since they couldn't reinstate. Still haven't guaranteed the original price, nor the 100 deposit, nor financing! This is crazy!

I’m in Delaware and ordered my MYLR,Red, B&W interior, induction wheels, tow, no FSD on 4/8. I’ve had multiple sliding dates and now my order says 6-10 weeks from order date for the last 3 days.

I live about 20 minutes from the factory. Did you just walk up to the service center there?
