Guys, need some input. I ordered a Y long range on July 11th, that had a expected delivery of October. Now it says on the Order page Late November to late DECEMBER!
That's basically false advertising. I ordered over a month ago and may have to wait almost till the new year to get my car? How is this possible? How is my order date almost in January, when if I ordered now, the delivery is projected barely after my projected date from an over over a month ago??
It says Performance models are 5-7 weeks. If I switched to a Performance model now, is it *actually* 5-7 weeks or would I screw myself by switching? Do I go to the back of the line if I switch? What would you do?

Can you share the link to that one? Do you like it? I've been so on the fence about it, but haven't asked anyone who did it. Does it turn itself off? I know the car won't "die" like an ICE car, I just didn't want to have to turn that on and off all of the time. I do want the ambient lighting though. Miss that from my BMW.
I was in a similar situation however my SA told me I'd have a car in 3-5 weeks when I ordered my MYLR. I'm about to enter week 12 with the EDD saying September still. I doubled down and threw away $100 to order a MYP also and I'll just cancel whatever one I want and Tesla can keep my $100. It was a very tiny price to pay in comparison to how much I want a car. My SA is on board and right now the MYP is tracking ahead. It's all between you and Jesus (or Tom Cruise, or whomever).

The model year can be determined by the 10th digit of the VIN
Digit 10: Model Year
L = 2020
M = 2021
N = 2022

Hang in there #teamblack I am feeling like we are close. We have seen all sorts of white, blue and MSM VINs, so our time to bask in the glory of VINs will be upon us soon.

I did exactly that. Ordered a Perf in July and it’s scheduled for delivery between 8/15 - 8/30, so hopefully I get a VIN next week. After waiting since March for my LR, I’d rather just get the Perf if it’s available now.
For reference, my LR EDD is 9/10 - 9/30, and no telling how accurate that’s going to be.

we are def close brotha.......i'm in LA too so we should be getting ours early next week? and yes they do go out throughout the weekend!
