Current owners... new thoughts on 3rd row space?

Agree there isn’t much space for a 3rd row. Munro identified some spots in the rear where a 3rd row might be mounted. To me, rear facing would make the most sense from a space perspective but can’t see how that would be safe. Electrek wrote about forward facing in January. Looks cramped...

I cannot imagine that a 3rd row would fit 2 adults in a Model Y. I thought that the 3rd row in the X was small.

Also, there cannot be very much, if any, luggage space with the 3rd row

I have always wanted a full size, 3 row EV SUV. I got tired of waiting and got the Model Y. I am super glad I did not wait.
I can fit 5 adults (a little tight in the back, but I am in the front) and lots of luggage and still have sports car acceleration.
