Rebate Limit

Individual and business applicants are not eligible to receive more than one CVRP rebate either via direct purchase and/or lease as of December 3, 2019. Applicants who have not already met their rebate limit prior to December 3, 2019, will be eligible for one additional rebate. Those that have already met their two-rebate limit will remain ineligible for an additional rebate. Individuals or businesses that have met the rebate limit with non-fuel cell vehicles may apply for one additional rebate for an eligible fuel cell vehicle. This fuel cell vehicle exception does not apply to Rebate Now applications.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but if I purchased an EV in 2019 and got a rebate. And at that time, there was a two car limit. Does that mean I would qualify for an additional rebate?

Trying to decipher this:

Yes, I believe so. The trick to their obtuse language is knowing or remembering that the limit was two before the Dec 2019 change, as you recalled. So I'm pretty sure what they mean is "if you didn't receive two rebates before Dec 2019, you are still eligible to receive one (more) rebate".

We received one rebate around July 2017, so we're in the same boat of being eligible for one more CVRP rebate going forward.

The only thing I'd be uncertain of for your situation, is if your purchase was before Dec 2019, but your submittal or receipt of the rebate was close to or past Dec 3, 2019, whether that one rebate was counted under the old or new program.
