As of Friday, January 27, 2023 Tesla has not applied to be included in the CVRP program

Not sure if some are waiting on purchasing a Model Y or Model 3 that would be eligible for a California Vehicle Rebate Program (CVRP) rebate, but according to an email direct from CVRP, they say that Tesla has not applied. The email is date January 27, 2023.

Perhaps Tesla doesn't want to bother with the program. The administrative paperwork to apply is basic, so who knows what that reason is.

For now, anyone expecting a CVRP rebate probably should temper their expectations.

I had also emailed Tesla order support today after seeing some rumors that Tesla has applied and received this response:

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out again, at this time Tesla has not applied to be a part of CVRP. Should we be affiliated with the program at a future date it would be officially announced. We cannot guarantee nor advise if it will or will not occur in the future but can definitively say it is not right now.

All lazy people here especially from tesla and cvrp...CVRP is an automated email and Tesla will say no because they dont want to loose sales... Tesla has applied we should see the rebate this or in next couple of weeks.
