Heylo,
I placed my order for a P3D+ in Deep Blue Metallic on 10/02/2018. Today, I just received my VIN and a confirmed delivery date for 10/26/2018. So as long as the delivery goes smoothly, it will be 17 days from start to finish. I was expecting it to take like 8 weeks, so this is quite a surprise and I am scrambling to get everything together.
As for this post, I have seen some delivery nightmares regarding damage to Model 3's discovered on or after delivery day. During the delivery appointment, I want to go over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb, but I am sure we will be limited on time.
What areas of the vehicle do you all think I should prioritize for inspection? I want to make sure I catch everything I can so I don't run into any nightmare repairs later. Are there any areas that are damaged more often than others for delivery?
Is there anything else I should keep in mind for delivery day? Besides that it may not go the way I expect and hope...
Thank you in advance for your help.
