Just read where people taking a test drive this past weekend were told that if they then ordered a cybertruck their order would be ahead of others. Sure looks like waiting 4 years means nothing to Tesla. Lol like we expected something different?
We are seeing that is incorrect. They are basically going down the list in TX and Cali for orders for the Founders Edition.

Don't listen to what people say at a Tesla Service Center, they have no clue what they are talking about. Almost all of the most ridiculous and false rumors came from Tesla Employees.

The previous orders at $100 are also confirmed as I got an email so stating. Nor is there a way presently to change what was first ordered. So Tesla is not judging anything but new orders.
Only if your new order is Cyberbeast Foundation Edition would your new order get a preference as it costs $120K. If you got that $$ you'll get your CT sooner. Rich people always win no matter how fairly you play the game.

There are two different Foundation Edition trims, the AWD and Cyberbeast for $100k and $120k.

They started off going to celebs, employees, and influencers, but currently they are going down the pre-order list per the tracking on the Cybertruck forums.

There's no reason to believe that new orders will jump older reservations at this point. It's logical that eventually, the orders will be picked by region/Tesla store location and they will be a mix of early orders and new orders, depending the mix for that location. That's how the M3 was handled.

Only if at I see them effect the tax credit is to upgrade the X to 4380 batteries like the CT initial offering. They say 4380 has 15% more capacity on density and faster charging capability. Tesla would prefer to use the components from all vehicle to be the same or similar to brings costs down and no restrictions on supplychain since almost everything is made in-house. Seems the they are building up inventory to move the CT’s out.

We the refresh was 2021, 2025 may be the new X Every 4 or 5 years is when a new platform comes out. 🤞
