“FSD Capability” - the truck will not have FSD on delivery. It’s a “coming soon” item. Also, some have posted TACC is disabled as well. Must have something to with the new cameras and software not yet ready for the CT configuration. Best of luck with this “early adopter” hardware. I suspect Tesla will make a lot of changes over the next two years, leaving early adopters “holding the bag” once more.

Note: I was a Plaid early adopter. Still holding “that bag…”

When you get a VIN, please, do tell us what the insurance premium is….

I read a plausible reason for not coming with FSD.
The new models have FSD running in ghost mode for a few months. And is constantly sending info back to the Mother ship so "she" can run simulations and make sure that when activated the responses of FSD aren't out of whack with the new vehicle.

Could be. I just hope this is not another USS/Teslavision-gate. Recall, they pulled USS on the model Y and introduced TeslaVision, what, two years ago? Customers were told Smart Summon, Auto Park and more were coming soon. As of today, still not delivered/as usable as the USS solution it replaced. Didn’t those early adopters wait more than a year, before they received a poor quality replacement?

You evidently know more about specific aspects than I.

One recent X post was $460/mo with Progressive. For the nerve of providing anecdotal information, X promptly locked his X account for 12 hours.

Maybe it's our driving record or the region we live in (Chicagoland), but my wife and I pay about $2,400 a year to insure 2023 Model Y and 2023 Model X, low deductible on both vehicles... $450 plus a month, even on the Cybertruck, seems steep to say the least.

Gotta wonder if insurance companies suspect more of the same high repair costs and a lack of supply. We'll see how other insurers respond.
