Delivery in relation to vin number

3P+ White. Having read through some of the posts I am unclear about delivery in relation to Vin no ( mine is 498***) according to the invoice I just discovered in my Tesla account. Delivery showing as 8th October, I ordered 12th July and was told August but def before end Sept. Anyone know if delivery date could be earlier than that on invoice ? I see posts with Vin higher than mine already have delivery dates before end September

VIN order doesn't mean much.
But having a VIN means a car has been assigned to you and delivery is near
