Did you get a sunshade?

For those of you who received your Model X, I would like to know which of you received the promised sunshade for the panoramic windshield.

Please post when you took delivery and your experience with the sunshade/panoramic windshield.

I heard from a DS today that the original sunshades that were supposed to be delivered were of such poor quality that TM has sourced a new supplier

That explains why they stopped giving them after the initial release. Did you take deliver yet? If not when? Please keep us posted regarding the status of the sunshade

We picked up our second Sig on Tuesday. No sunshade and the information was it will ship directly to owners once inventory is available. Same thing happened with the S on early items that were in short supply.

We got our X on Tuesday and it came with a due bill for a sunshade. I didn't ask when it would arrive.

Same ..actually inquired about it yesterday and they could not offer an ETA.

On a related note, I've found that the tinting does an excellent job of blocking the sun in the upper part of the windshield. It's much like the panoramic roof in the S.

Are you referring to the factory tint already there, or aftermarket tint you installed? If aftermarket, what % tint did you get, and can you post pics?

Anyone know what brand of tint and its darkness percentage is on the rear windows and rear windshield? We're thinking of tinting the front windows to match, and it would be great if we could tell the tint installer the exact product to use.

I think it's intended for people who find the windshield too bright while driving. So you'd install it and leave it there most of the time. I'm hoping I won't find it necessary.

Factory tint. We did not add any aftermarket tint.
