Did you get the Auto pilot HW3 upgrade and do you see Cones?

So I just got my model S autopilot hardware 2.0 upgraded to HW3.0. i did not get the MCU 2 upgrade so i still have MCU1 with HW3.
Now my car can see the trafic light and can respond to it but i do not see the traffic cones. i had a 2.5 loaner with MCU2 and it was seeing the cones but my car does not. why is this?
does it have anything to do with MCU2?? i was hoping my car will start seeing cones but no luck
let me know if you have same configuration as mine and what difference you noticed after the HW3 upgrade.

You need MCU2 for the extra visualizations. The processing power is needed to display the cones. You also get a new IC display with MCU2.

I think the car sees the cones though. My 17 MS with MCU 1 has navigated through construction cones even though it doesn't show them to me.

It does, the HW3 sees all sorts of things that it doesn't show us.

IMO it's just the display coolness. I'd like my IC to be as clean and distraction free as possible.

For me, it's actually more distracting. Not necessary at all.

It shows trash cans as well. I wasn't expecting it the first time I was in a new vehicle. Didn't expect the alien-like figure representing a person either, which was hilarious. (I'm on AP1)

On garbage day our hw3 mcu2 model x display is so cluttered with the garbage can images that it's almost unusable - we live in a townhome community so there's literally 60 garbage barrels as we leave our garage and drive out of the area
