I certainly still intend to buy the Model S even if I don't get to see or test drive one between now and 'finalize'.

I sure resent that I will have to deal with the DMV to obtain my own plates. And that I will have to schlep down to the assessor to pay sales tax and register the vehicle. And most of all, I am disappointed I will miss out on the delivery specialist experience.

Maybe all this will be sorted out by the time they get to my number.
