Does a full battery weigh more?

Old flooded lead acid batteries definitely weighed more due to addition of gases being absorbed as alluded to above. Ours does not weigh more appreciable and I'm very thankful that the majority of you seem to know what you're talking about .

Mine definitely weighs more, but I only use premium electricity to charge. And I only use heavy water in my windshield washer fluid. This works best because my electricity comes from the nearby nuclear plant.

I used to fill my summer tires with nitrogen over in Europe. This is a good reminder, I just found a shop here in Cali who does that.

I do too, just not as regularly as I should. I reckon I only have about 78% nitrogen in them at the moment.

If you're really looking for that quick run make sure to fill your car with Helium filled balloons and make sure to get a younger hamster to spin the motors.

When I charge a significant amount at a supercharger, say, go from 20% to 90%, does the car gain weight? Between the time I arrive and the time I leave, the car seems..... "heavier." Is this due to my imagination or does the change in battery chemistry cause the battery to weight more?

No, that can't happen as far as I know. The batteries are fully closed, there's no mass exchange with the exterior (and it could be only air). The charging in the battery is just state change (imagine a weight being raised higher, which adds potential energy, but doesn't increase the overall mass).

And if we talk about e=Mc², 100KWh is 0.00000000400554 Kg, so it's not that.

I would guess what happens is that the battery state prevents full regen, or full power output for a while.
