Does autopilot track my eyes the same as FSD?

I typically do a pretty good job of keeping my eyes on the road, but I occasionally will respond to a quick text and as you all know, that's enough to get a FSD strike.

If I use autopilot instead of FSD, does that track my eyes as well?

Does a strike using autopilot count against my FSD strikes?

And if I'm kicked out of FSD, can I still use autopilot?

As long as you are using the steering wheel button and dictating the text message then NO since you keep you eyes on the road. If you are typing on your phone then you deserve a strike, kicked out of FSD/AP and a ticket.

I don’t think it matters whether you use AP or FSD.

And for good measure the seat heaters should be locked on High for a month minimum! Lol
