If you want a faster car, buy the faster car. That’s really what it comes down to.
Short, simple and to the point here. If you're on the fence about it, schedule an appointment and get your own opinion on the two.

Ya my LR RWD Is the fastest car I’ve owned. My cars have been 5.6-6 sec 0-60 and my daily is an 11 sec 0-60 lol. So all relative.List the cars you've owned that you thought were fast or at least acceptable, performance-wise, from your perspective. It's all relative.
your 0-60 times will mean nothing in stop and go traffic, esp in CA.

What's sometimes not appreciated though about the Tesla is that ALL of its enormous performance is usable, because it makes no noise at all and virtually never spins the wheel. High-performance ICE cars on the other hand make such an attention-getting racket if you exploit their performance envelope much at all. The Model 3 just disappears down the road.
Usually "ricers" and big trucks.+1
I've noticed how acutely aware I've become of ICE cars that make a lot of noise. Especially ones that make a ton of noise and don't seem to accelerate while doing so.
How so? Charging speeds mostly depends on battery size.the addition of the front motor will make a very large difference in charging speed if you find yourself driving through cold climates.

I bought AWD in SoCal and I am having a blast with it. Did I needed it in such dry climate? Nope but wanted it to enjoy corners and have fun.
...was probably referring to motors being used to heat the battery. The dual motor has twice the heat for supercharging conditioning and cold weather heat up.
Dont get a RWD....you'll be reading these same threads thinking you should have just gotten the AWD (either one). As far as range, it all works out to the same range in the end.
