I use the 14-50 extension cord and 14-50 splitter a lot while camping.

When I made the 6-50P, it came with the alternate 6-30R pin, which I have never used. I use the 6-50P regularly. I haven't used the TT-30 combiner yet.

I have used all the other ones.

In your towing, have you installed a breaker controller in the X and if so, which one?

I also tow our pop-up down to the beach every year. The first time I did not have a breaker controller hooked up. Recently I purchased a CURT ECHO Controller and have yet to use it. I also purchased a 4 foot trailer 7 pin extension cable to go from the X 7-pin to the trailer so I can hook up the CURT where I can bungee it to the trailer frame so it doesn't fall off and get lost.

I have not fully tested this setup but I think it will work.

What do u think?

I assume you mean brake controller, and yes, I did. I think it is Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller. Seem to work fine. I've done a few practice emergency panic stops, and it is pretty stable.

I also installed a "breaker". My trailer has PV, so it is possible that power would flow from the trailer to the car. Tesla get upset and give weird, non-helpful error messages. I removed the fuse in the trailer that connects to the brake and light wiring. The other reason for disconnecting the trailer circuits from the car is I did not want any unexpected drawdown on the Tesla batteries, especially if I am boondocking in a remote area for a few days.

Where did you find a 7-pin extension? I've been looking for one.
