Don't forget to upload insurance info even if you don't have it anymore

Ordered on 8/8. Today I got my first call from Tesla. I was excited thinking I was assigned a VIN.
But the advisor said I need to upload my insurance info. I said, "But I am waiting for my VIN to get a Tesla insurance quote." But somehow they want the proof of insurance for my old car...which I don't even have anymore. It was a little weird but make sure you guys upload one!

I uploaded mine yesterday as it was due for renewal so had to wait (ordered MY 8/23) so it would have the required minimum time left on the policy.

Who knows if that will make any difference. I am also going to see how Tesla Insurance compares once I get a VIN.

I have my truck and car on same policy so it’ll be a case of figuring out what my truck will end up being as a stand-alone vehicle. Currently with Geico.
