Door Seal

zosoisnotaword is quite right, NO NEED to make any cuts, in fact it is correct to place the strips with the adhesive at the edge so that (almost) only half is the over lap the the other half extends past the door, providing more noise reduction.

I regret watching all those youtube videos w/ cuts, in fact I was thinking that:
a) if Basenor wanted those cuts, then it could've done them before hand
b) w/ the cut, the water will leak inside the rubber tubing and stuck in them
too bad the link that Basenor provide is someone else's Youtube with the wrong instruction to cut them

Also sequence wise, I started the the B pillars first which is the easiest in order to familiar myself w/ the installation.
Then the A pillar, rear door - right first, then left. Then finally the front doors, right first and left last.

With that sequence I initially (wrongly) cut the two rear window strips before I realized I can do away w/ no cuts on the front seals. I had to use the spare leftover strips to cover the cuts, not nice but at least water wouldn't leak inside the tubings.
