You'll still be using defrost, so count that as AC.

Well, that depends.

Remember the AC runs the defroster. And it also doubles as the heat pump (if your car is equipped.)

So it may run even in winter … but do keep an eye. Check it - if it’s oily or a non-clear color, get it checked.

Thanks. Car has been sitting in the garage all day with garage doors open. Temp outside is hovering around 60 degrees.

No fluid at all on the floor so you guys are right about the defroster and heat pump (I assume it has one anyway). It's a 22LRAWD.

Anyone installed the following fender coolant line protection plates from Tsportline on their Model 3/Y? Do any other vendors make a similar product?

Looks like it could be fairly cheap insurance from costly damage?

Have not installed. Still some exposure for objects in the middle but this will help with this issue. Was wondering when someone would do this.
