I know there's been some threads near or dear to this issue, but my question is what exactly, or more accurately, where do you put some form of cloth/foam/tape wedged in to stop the rattle? I have confirmed that it only exists when the seat is up and locked (wife sat there and confirmed where rattle was). It is in the area of where the seatbelt exits its housing. I tried the easy/slow/genetle lock and that did not work. When seat is in it's fully open/reclined position, all is quiet. Any suggestions appreciated.

My solution was to insert a foam block about 1" D x 1.5" W x 2" L into the metal hook (size so it sticks in the hook). It needs to be fairly stiff foam. Oddly, the left side has never rattled, so I've only needed this on the right side.

Wrap the black u shaped book the seat arm closes into. Miraculous

This rattle happens because the plastic covers of the latch meet as the seatback moves as the car flexes. The real fix is to attach a rubber shim on that plastic so that there is no gap between the two seatbacks.

The Tesla fix to wrap the latch with felt tape is stupid. It only works in certain cases if the latch is able to grip real good and does not let the seatback move.
