I know this may sound odd for having spent $110K on a car, and then having to "jimmy-rig" a solution to the absent coat hooks, but here it is:
It can be easily removed when there is a rear seat passenger, and it costs 25¢ (4 for 99¢ at the "99 cent store") The "over the door" hook, as it is called, slots into the back of the middle rear seat belt mechanism. Simple solution for coat hook to use for dry cleaning etc
I beg to disagree on the handle. I have an elderly mother who is paralyzed on the left side. She needs the assistance of the handle to "pull" herself into the seating position. If I have to take her anywhere, I usually drive my wife's Infinity. The handle is functional, not just for looks.
