Not sure if this is the correct spot, but I just drove by the Quinte Mall (Belleville ON) and "about" 21 Tesla Superchargers are being installed right now (sorry no photo, too much traffic).

There was a new location on PlugShare today at Queens Quay Parking Lot which had 20 Tesla chargers and 6 Universal chargers. These are probably not Superchargers but the location would seem like a good one to use for one.

More Tesla map updates today. Griffintown (MTL), Berthierville, and Sherbrooke added in Quebec.

Griffintown will most likely be urban chargers in a garage.

Kincardine, Ontario has appeared, with a target date of 2019. Brampton has also appeared, also with a 2019 target date.

Has there been any information about the Moncton, NB Supercharger which is showing on the revised map as Target opening in Summer 2018 - that would imply it is probably under construction now.

I didn’t find any indications when I rolled through, but since I’m not a resident it’s unlikely I would have found it except by accident.

Exciting news for the Maritimes. Talk about being at the right place at the right time..... I was using the CHAdeMO charger in Aulac at the Irving Big Stop, when a very nice gentleman asked me whether this was a Tesla and if it was then I likely would be interested that he was there to break ground for the first Tesla Supercharger in the Maritimes! WHAT? WHAT???!!!! Oh by the way, I happen to be here to start the construction of Supercharger Stalls????!!!!! True story. He also mentioned that his company also has a contract to install them in Enfield at the Irving at the airport.

So it begins! FINALLY! And YAY. Here are some pictures pre-ground breaking!

Yes, in Aulac at the Irving right next to the highway. Right near the NB power CHAdeMO charger. GREAT location.

I don't think that Elon's tweet had anything to do with this. There are vendors that have been contracted and also contracts with the companies that own the parking lots and power utilities too in order to get the construction permitting process going. Somehow some big iron transformers need to show up to make all this work!
I think this new roll out has been in the planning stages for a very very long time. I doubt Elon had anything to do with it and likely didn't even know about it until he looked at a map himself. Based on my conversations there has been ongoing conversations and vendor selection going on for a very long time.

A tweet from Elon (like this situation) is simply timed just prior to actual shovels in the ground.

Yes. But I don't know what it is. Does seem rather curious, and rather close to an obvious location ...

edit ... but it could just be a weird manual offset. It just looks offset to the left compared to other blobs.

So what are the chance that a supercharger is built from scratch? There is a big parking lot near Charlemagne,QC and in one part of the lot, there was nothing built yet. They started some digging and the company doing the construction is a electrical company Pretty sure this is not it anyway lol...
