Can a Level 2 wall charger get installed in a townhome? We are moving to our brand new townhome with separate garage and wonder if it's possible?

Check what the builder installed. Here in Ontario I believe it's now code to provide a conduit from garage to panel to enable EV charging installation. No idea about BC though.

Just got an install in our Town House last month by PowerItUp and it was about as painless as it gets. About $850 all in (plus the hardware of course). Highly recommended!

Just a note... the electrician installed my cutoff box a little too close to the charger.. it makes it slightly annoying to take the handle out because it bumps a bit on the box.

Just something to be aware of...

What did you end up paying? I still haven't gotten my charger installed. Only got it in March and by then people started to close down. I have a model y on order though so really need to get it installed since I'll have 2 EVs!

I’m not sure yet! I haven’t gotten a bill yet.. I’m expecting around $900

That's pretty good! Do you recommend who you used despite the box placement?

I contacted all the recommended installers on the Tesla website and they (Sega electric) were the only ones that contacted me back - then they were able to come the next day and the install seemed to go pretty well. The installer at first didn’t know where the installation hardware was (it was inside the case of the charger) which indicated he hadn’t installed the newest version of charger before... but I think in general it’s fairly straightforward and any certified electrician could do it.
