Awesome. I'm glad they're throwing you guys some love -- and not branching the firmware to do it.DAB works great in my car with 5.8. Used to be quite useless with 5.6.
Would be interesting to see if 5.8 fixes the issues with your car also. I have the impression that there are quite alot differences in how the DAB problem affects different cars: Had a Tesla loaner (w/ 5.6) for some days, and DAB in that car worker almost perfect.Hmmm, that sounds promising! Ah, I'm not the only one with the sparkling sound! I sometimes have that, not all the time.Still loads of DAB problems in Norway. Random channel switch, mediocre reception, and what`s new nowadays is a low sparkling sound in the background when listening to DAB.
Sounds like an old LP disc except for the great sound quality.
Tesla has a long way to go before their software works flawlessly.
What I recommend is that you e-mail [email protected]Bad FM, bad DAB, thats me.. :frown:
