Maybe there is more vandalism in the US which they are afraid of? Or it might be a safety thing because there is about 600kW going through those cabinets.I find it very interesting that the supercharger cabinets at the European stations are open / accessible, while at the US stations they are locked up behind a fence. Is this a building code, aesthetics, cost, or crime issue?

My car shows one in Switzerland
The one in Switzerland also has two stalls.
The one in Switzerland also has two stalls.
Any idea why that is? A shortage of power? Parking capacity?
cool, now I just need some in the northern part of germany (Hamburg, Hanover & Kassel), then I can take my model S on ski holiday in the new year
I go to Magdeburg twice a year, a SuperCharger on that route would allow visits to Hannover, Magdeburg and Berlin! That's the E30, the Amsterdam <> Berlin route.Hoping for that too. I'm considering to attend CEBIT in Hannover this year.
