That kind of makes me sad, obviously I am a huge Tesla fan boy but I really do want to see another EV company succeed, considering the big ICE companies don't seem to be giving this their best shot.
I can agree that I want there to be good competition, but I don't want foreign companies to just come here and poach talent or simply buy out companies.
Hi, i know it is strange, but o can find solution in other ways - how it is possible to something here beside commenting(like posting, sending messages, giving likes or changing the picture) ?
Will be very thankful if someone responds to my concern.

Well, I guess the bright side of FF/LeEco's possible demise is that the talent they'd poached may be released back into the "wild" for domestic companies to rehire.

Mr Musk is technically literate. When running an engineering company, that is of huge importance. In China it is possible to succeed in the internet arena without been technically savvy, and only being business savvy. That is why I wouldn't sweat all the Chinese entrants.
Hopefully, Lucid Motors (formerly Atieva) will rise to be a legitimate challenger to Tesla. And they seem to be legit. They have a strong foundation in battery and will soon supply to Formula E. Also, with Peter Rawlinson (of Model S fame) in the helm and Derek Jenkins (of Mazda Miata fame) leading their Design, it reminds me of the early days of Model S development in 2009/2010.

No surprise there, after it became public last month that FF was in arrears to the tune of $21 million with AECOM, their contractor for the factory site.
Really makes one appreciate the magnitude of what Elon and Tesla have been able to accomplish.
If you want to break an industry wide open, it is helpful to be 10 years ahead. Tough going when you are a startup, with no magic tech, and you are years behind VW and Porsche. Show up with a better that is twice as good today, you have a shot.
