And a tip for Savannah is that you must take a ticket to enter the parking area, but if you tell the parking attendant when you leave that you were just charging there's no fee.

that could work out ok, but the procedure has been that you need to go inside the terminal to the customer service desk present your parking ticket and they will stamp it for you.
There is plenty of time while charging to do that, besides which to find the restrooms and Food Court (such as it is) one must pass the Information Desk anyway. People are very pleasant there.

The information desk inside will also validate it for you so you can use any of the 3 leftmost aisles to exist. If you use the ones on the right (after validating), it will just spit the ticket back at you.

Btw, Pizza Hut, Nathan'a Hot Dogs, Pino Gelato have permanently closed down. New stores will be put in their place.
That is probably good news. They were quite pitiful with slow, surly service also. Most unlike Savannah, which deserves much better, if only for the odd Gulfstream types who pop in from time to time when they're slumming by flying commercial. Gulf Stream is based on the airport.
