Fixing scratches on hard door plastic / Air-cond fan noise

2 quick questions please:

• a lovely visitor accidentally scratched the hard plastic on the inside door cover front pax, any quick solutions for this?
• air con fan noise. Been noticing lately it’s quite ‘Whitney’ esp if I get it going to pre-condition the car before driving. Is that normal? I’ll try and get a sound grab of it.

Model S aircon sounds like a jet engine when its working hard….so much for the quiet EV.

A hairdryer or heat gun (and sometimes rubbing after heating) can help. Here’s a video which shows the general idea.

A hairdryer will take a longer to heat the plastic than a heat gun.
