Sometimes, when driving at night on an interstate, when approaching an overhead exit sign, suddenly a bright light flash is seen on the the sign. I check to see if my bright lights are on and they were not. What causes that?
Headlights might be out of alignment. I had that with mine. Easy fix, you can do yourself. Find a level driveway and wall and do it from the Service screen.
If you are on AP and have a no-radar or FSD beta car, then you have the auto high-beams. They turn on automatically when you engage AP, regardless of your setting. You can manually turn off auto high-beam after you engage AP, but it will turn back on at next engagement.

Lots of possibilities - is it happening regularly at that exact spot on the road, or sporadically?
If the latter, the auto-HighBeam (HB) feature may be turning on and off. It does that for me in weird places, for no good reason. That on-off cycle usually happens quicker than I can detect the HB indicator light on the display. To check, manually trigger HB's at that location, and see if you can replicate the effect.
If regularly, then it could be a road angle issue of lights reflecting onto the exit sign. Which could be how geography aligns on that spot on Earth, or could indicate a light aliment issue.
