I'm a new M3 owner and whenever I see another Tesla, most people seem really happy to see me! Is this a thing? Or am I seeing things?

Ha ha, that's a good one.
It seems to be less of a thing these days. When I got our first one in 2015, Tesla owners were happy to wave and smile and talk at the superchargers. Now, "sometimes" a few people are like...... just get out of my way

Exactly. My first one in the UK was in 2014, and seeing another one was an event here in the North. These days the M3s seem to be all over the place.

I think I'd wave like crazy if I saw an M3 around here. I have seen one locally in the last 8 weeks or so, no more.

Waving was always a Land Rover thing, but then maybe it isn't any more. Mine has been off the road for around 10 years.
