Folding mirrors on 2013 model s

Taking delivery next Monday on my CPO! My question is on the mirrors...Do the Model S' from that year allow you to fold mirrors in with a button on the screen, or must they be manually folded in? I'll be parking in the 1 bay side of my 3 car garage, and it'll be tight with mirrors extended.

Does it have the tech package because if not you have to fold them in manually. They were added to the tech package around October of 2013! And if you do there is going to be a button on the driver side door panel between the 2 mirror adjustments to fold the mirrors in and out!

Depends on the production date. Your owner advisor or delivery specialist should be able to tell you. Get it in writing as it sounds very important. Good luck

I personally dont think it would but still check with your delivery specialist! And if not they can be added aftermarket (VIA Tesla) but here's the pictures of the controls to know if you have them or not!

Check with your DS for sure, but EV-CPO doesn't show that car with the folding mirror option. Now there was a transition period where cars had harnesses but not the mirrors, and those can be upgraded for less $$ than doing the whole install.

That's good info everybody....any idea what the approximate cost is to add it aftermarket??

From Tesla Tap "Most VINs higher than P12141 have the wiring in place and can be upgraded for $1,600. For cars without the power mirror wiring, the upgrade is $3,200". So that's probably what your looking at since your car (Might) Not have the harness installed already!
