For AWD owners wanting a P3D-

Unlock AWD to P acceleration. No track mode.


Which would kinda make everyone happy and mad at the same time.

For those with FSD there are currently no upgrades so it doesn't appear. Hopefully in the next few seconds that will change. My entire neighborhood is covered in ice. This is a perfect day for an acceleration upgrade!

I see that in my account too. Hopefully that will end the argument over whether or not this is possible.

Now we can all fight about what we'll get and how much it'll cost.

Calling it an acceleration upgrade implies we may not get track mode or increased top end. And if the cost is less than stealth performance I'm okay with that.

From the screen shots I've seen it shows that only as a one line disclaimer about the SW version needed... not as an actual thing you can buy

And even that only appears underneath the "buy FSD" dialog

So I'm not sure anything there is specific to the car other than "doesn't have FSD" or indicates it'll be available.


What we need is someone with a P and no FSD to tell us if that disclaimer text appears for them- that'd confirm it's in no way car-specific at this point and just a general disclaimer.

My P has the same screen. No FSD here

If true, that's a big P-A-S-S for me, as we already get sub-4s acceleration with last free upgrade. Sounds like a lot of nothing, but pad for Tesla.

Oh for sure. I have hit 3.9 with my AWD. I just look at it as a half second increase. We should be hitting 3.4 after the upgrade. Of course all of this is with the 1ft roll out as is the way this should be done.
