FSD upgrade option disappeared from Tesla Account

Hey people,

I still had the option to upgrade to FSD yesterday (I think, or it was a few days ago) in my Tesla Account, and I just realized it's not there anymore today. Does anyone else have that issue?

I don't see it for my X, but I still see it for my 3. They have different page layouts, though. Maybe they are migrating over the old layout to the new one.

I see the same thing as OP. Option was just there a few days ago and now it’s gone. I check from time to time to see if they lowered the price back down to what it was when I purchased.

I imagine the cost is going up because V9 is expected to be released by Sep 30th.

I just checked the European configuration page - there's not mention of September 30th here.

My bet was: no option to upgrade to FSD for existing owners as long as the new HW3 isn't out, so they don't have to give it for free.

Good point. Maybe Tesla is waiting to determine just how much hardware will be needed to make HW2 & HW2.5 cars HW3.0 compatible. Could be way more than they originally thought and want to limit their "liability" and / or unknown $$$$$ exposure to pre-paid FSD

I sent an email to Tesla asking if it was "normal" I can't choose to upgrade to FSD anymore on the Account page. The rep answered it was a bug on the website which should be fixed shortly. FWIW...

Interesting. The options on my app Upgrade screen also just changed. I have a 2.0 car and I purchased FSD.

Maybe they have different codes the old pre-2019 FSD (level 5) vs. Neutered one available today (level 2), for accounting purposes.

Wonder if this recent FSD upgrade glitch has anything to do with the recent discovery of legacy AP1 cars being offered to “upgrade” to basic autopilot in the app:

Are they going to try and charge for autopilot?
