Yes, even in crazy EU there is not retroactive laws agains approved products.
Example1 : EU required catalysators on cars, particle filters on Dielsel.
*NO* previously sold car will need to have catalyzator or filter retrofitted.
EU will soon require EV's to make noise.
*NO* Already sold car will need to have that noise-crap retrofitted.

EU passes some anti-progress laws:
Tesla DOES choose to screw over existing customers, and annoy them to the point oranges are a good idea.

Tesla COULD just add this "feature" to cars delivered on/after the date of that bought laws.
