Anyone has sold their car through escrow service? I plan on selling my X but it still has a loan so I figured escrow would be safe for both parties, especially if both are out of State.

I think a lot of people bought these thinking they would resell them at a premium. Then news broke that these are just overpriced radio flyer battery powered quads with Cybertruck branding. All of a sudden the demand dropped and people are now lucky to get what they paid for them at resale.

FWIW, lots of them have sold for and are selling for more than retail (which is quite a bit more than the MSRP when you factor in tax & shipping which are both significant on an item such as this) due to the fact that these are limited production and difficult to get like most of these types of Tesla branded items.

You can also buy a pair of cheap boy shorts for a few bucks but that doesn't mean that the market doesn't support over 20x that amount because they're the Tesla official "short shorts" that sold briefly a while back. Same thing for the tequila, whistle, on and on. Everyone knows the game so we're not reinventing the wheel with this particular item.

Yeah, prices of used car inventory on tesla.com seems high, in general, because they add FSD on almost all of them :-/

Just letting you know that Gen 3 HPWC are selling for $495 right now on Tesla's site. Shorter cable but has wifi capabilities.

Anyone else on this forum very tired with these "reservation for sale" threads? It's so exhausting looking through the classifieds and seeing nothing but reservations for sale. I understand that it's all supply and demand that is driving this, but this practice is not allowed per Tesla. So essentially the TMC forum is enabling this crap and buyers are fueling it by actually buying them.

That's fair but some people have an urgent need to purchase a vehicle. For example, if your lease is up (which happens to be my situation). Mercedes Benz Dealers are marking up G class SUV's by $100K so a couple hundred to a few thousand for a reservation is actually quite the deal.
