can anyone recommend a hotel in Brussels with EV charging?

I posted a reference over on the charging thread. Tesla had used a hotel pic on their website to promote the store opening in Eindhoven, so pretty certain it must have charging!. That is the Chateau du Lac in Genval just outside Brussels. Beautiful hotel, haven't been there for a few years but it used to be reasonable pricing.

If you stop there, try out the restaurant L'Amusoir (in Waterloo, just a couple miles down the road) for some of the best "Steak Frites" in Belgium.

Am I missing somebody?

Ok, I need some straight advice here guys. This trip is nearly about to happen for me, but:
a) I think I am coming from the furthest away location (1400kms each way) taking at least 3 days and 6 full charge cycles in each direction
b) This is a week I need to dedicate to driving instead of being with my family or business

So, is it worth it? I want to make sure Spain is on the the electric map, but is it going to achieve anything? If there is going to be some actual result in the way of awesome red-carpet attention from Tesla (no sign of that so far), or good press coverage then I am up for it, but if I am just Roadster #29 of 30 I doubt it really matters if I do this or not. After all, its not like the first time anyone has driven through Spain to Northern Europe (Eberhard did that a while back).

I just want to know if it is worthwhile or not guys... I will be there on Friday but I can fly there on Friday morning and return Saturday morning, or I can drive there leaving Tuesday morning and get back home Monday evening.

I'd appreciate feedback

Mark

If nothing else, you'll really know your car!

But I think if we can get some group photos with with UK, Spanish, Italian, German, Swiss, French (any others? Dutch?) number plates, that will be powerful.

I will send it out to the blogosphere and I am sure Kevin and Zero Carbon World will publicise it far and wide.

Its really worth it. Its still one of the last adventure of this time. I did 2700km on way and it did it again last summer with the trip together with TRON to Constantia at the Black Sea crossing the summit of the Carpathian Mountains another 2700km on way.
Meeting 29 other Roadster Owners - thats also a great event of its own - seeing the Model S! I just flew to San Francisco just to have a 2 minute ride? and meeting other enthusiasts. I really enjoyed every minute.

But make sure to have at least 32A for charging or true 16A for overnight charge. Check with the local fire departments or police station. Did you got in contact with patrick?

I'm coming to this, am most looking forward to it I've never seen another Roadster on the road, it gets lonely :) (or should say was looking forward to it until Gian told me I would be escorted into the "Chapel of Love" upon arrival, at which point I had to double check the invitation )

According to my opinion - YES.
As stated in the comments already we are still a small group of enthusiasts and events like this meeting with parade, photo shooting, press release will help to convince more and more people that E-mobility is ready for the market.
Last year I was participating the WAVE 2011 (WAVE - World Advanced Vehicle Expedition) from Paris to Prague (2 weeks ride) and we had great meetings, events a.s.o. during the tour - I'm still happy to participate this tour!

Ok... I think it is clear that you guys are pretty positive about the trip. ;) Thanks for the support.

The trip has 6 charge points each way: Zaragoza, Barcelona, Narbonne, Aix-en-Provence, Grenoble, and Geneva. All are organised with 32A charging except Narbonne. :(

Can anyone help out? I have emailed all the large hotels I could find in the area but with no success (probably because I emailed in English!). Anyone know of a 32A outlet that works within 50kms of Narbonne?

This is essentially the final hurdle I need to overcome.
