Saw a brand new shiny white MS downtown today with no license plate yet...the driver was smiling

I always miss my Tesla when I'm out of town. Especially when I have to drive an ICE rental car. You must be going crazy since you just got yours and had to leave it

Nanimac, you are right, luckily we have the app.... so I check on it too many times a day, not that I need to... I just want to.... (I have been tempted to honk the horn and flash the lights.... But have not) But I am so glad I got it before I left on the trip if not this trip would be horrible having to wait to get back from vacation, knowing my car was sitting there waiting for me to pick her up.....

I've been in Pasadena visiting family for Christmas. I snuck away to do a test drive at the Colorado Blvd location. We got there a little early, before Jason, the Owner Experience Specialist showed up. While I was in the bathroom, Jason came into the store to meet with us and asked my wife if we were there to drive the S85 (which is what we had reserved weeks ago). Wisely, my wife smiled at him and said, "No, we're here for the P85D." To which he replied, "Ok, let me go get it ready."

Holy smokes! What a machine! For those of you with a D on the way... Congratulations! You made an excellent choice! We had 5 adults in the car, and that was still the most exhilarating driving experience of my life. I can't imagine what it would be like to drive that beast solo with 800 fewer pounds on board!

G'sin, One question. Did you leave your MS at the airport (so it would be there waiting on your when you returned)?

This is a modern form of torture. I have my delivery date set for 1-8 at 130pm. 244 hours and 20 mins, but who counting. :)

244? That's nothing. Wait until you hit 48 hours. You will watch the clock. (Not the minute hand, but the second hand.) You will find yourself considering starting out "now" and walk to Waipahu. You will consider backpacking a cot and tent and sleeping in front of Tesla #3 the day before. You will pace the parking lot in front of Tesla #3. AND you already know you won't be embarrassed if one of us catches you there. Weazl sezs that he caught me driving in circles in a Long's parking lot (in an ICE) while waiting on my RED.

The first thing you will say as you stomp that pedal the first time is WOWWWW. The second thing is 'ahhhhhh'

Ok Akikiki,
You were right, its now just over 24 hours and I am chomping at the bit. Car is there at the SC and I cant go until tomorrow. I'm am considering starting the walk to Waipahu.
The last time I felt like this was waiting for the birth of my kids, no this is worse. :)
On another note, has anyone heard if the service center will be moving anytime soon to Honolulu?
