I just received the email that assigned me a delivery experience specialist. How long before I get a real live delivery date? Anyone know? I'm getting excited...:tongue:

What date was your order confirmed and what date did you get your VIN?
I e-mailed buildmyX asking about if my X got a VIN yet, etc. and got a phone call a day later saying no VIN but he had the name of my DS that was assigned to me. He asked me if that DS reached out to me, and the answer to that is no, they have not yet. I will be reaching out to them, instead. Seems like being proactive and initiating communication is the best way to find out any new info on your X.
So even though a DS has been assigned to me, I never received any communication telling me that was the case.

Should not be long. They said that for the last week in 2015 they produced 238, and that the number is increasing "exponentially".

I'm SIG 700 VIN 0027X....
I got the email a couple days after I put in my config (9/28)....My car entered production on 12/2....was complete by the end of the year and I picked it up on 1/5
I think the entire process was slowed for the SIG's since they were probably figuring out production and may have had some supply constraints..Should be faster now...
Perhaps this will give you a "not to exceed" timing...

Any issues with your SigX? I think you said in one thread that you were very pleased with only minor issues. I'm trolling the forums and accumulating a watch list for my delivery, "coming soon."

Maybe something to consider. The folks here who have low production numbers but no email to get ready might have a lot to do with what type of X was ordered. The production numbers seem consistent but the email letters are more confusing in these posts. So adding more info might bring this into focus. I got my letter and I have pro. 06xx, the car is fully loaded P90DL with tow package and 72amp charger.

I don't think there's a correlation between when you get this e-mail and your actual delivery. I have a 90D reservation (confirmed 12/20) and got that e-mail a few days ago. I'm expecting my car in July. Because TESLA.

Yep. No correlation at all this just tells you how 'on top of it' your DS is (or how not busy they are, not sure which). This can apparently happen anytime from the day after confirmation to hours before you are asked for your final payment
