Gross income isn't everything. Financial assets, shares and savings etc, can be high enough to be able to afford a model 3.

That's true, and I have stated as much numerous times.

Keep in mind that the reason this poll was generated is that the first poll had something like 75% take rate on the "<$150,000" income bracket and there were many desiring more granularity on the high end of the income scale.
