Green line on screen when camera is on at dark

i see a green line on the screen when the back camera is on at dark. Anyone seeing this issue and has a workaround?

Never heard of that one. I’d bet a camera replacement is called for. One for the service center in any case.

Just saw this on mine a couple days ago - seemed to be a glitch that resolved on its own. Hmm...

This happens on mine too - lasts a few seconds then disappears - even during daytime. Not annoying enough to take back to a SC immediately, will wait till it’s in for something else - or the camera completely fails.

Now I got the same problem too! It was 2 deg celcius out. But it disappeared when it got to 5.
I have an S though. Bad contact with the backing camera?

Just had this issue pop up for me for the first time last night when reversing into the garage. I have a SC appointment Monday for other issues and I’ll just add this to the list.

Same issue here! Never had this before v9, seems to be coinciding with colder weather as well. Happens very frequently, just as the dashboard/system 'freezes' and auto-resets.

I have exact same problem. sent pics to service center. Have appt next week to swap out camera. They said its HW issue.

issue with the camera or MCU? Also can mobile do it or does it have to be SC?

Issue with the camera. Mobile can’t do it, have to go in SC.

I hope so too but at this time I think they are selling most of the loaners

Thanks ask them what they think of it. is it something that can wait and just annoying or does the green line mean that it will fail at any possible moment. whether that is anytime now or 6 months from now.

Same thing happened to me in 3 day old Model X 100D. Temp was in 40s. I’ll bring to SC’s attention during my upcoming visit

I purchased an X last August 2018. I’ve had the green line on the screen almost daily. They replaced the CMU which didn’t help. I’ve been told it’s a firmware issue which seems odd since the firmware should be universal.

This happened on the overnight loaner I had (100D built 03/2019)... Recorded a video and did a bug report in the vehicle - showed the video the Advisor and let him know I did the report. I guess this wasn't just a fluke in the X I had.
